Cookies and Browser Storage

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This notice explains cookies and browser storage used by Innovating Chaos. For information about submitted enquiries, client records and your rights, read our Privacy Policy.

Your cookie choices

Use these controls or the Cookie settings button to accept or reject optional external services. Essential storage for services you request stays active. Rejecting optional services does not prevent you from submitting our business discovery form.

Google Maps and Google reCAPTCHA on public pages are held until you allow optional external services. The contact form may ask for permission to load its anti-spam service; alternatively, use our discovery form or email us. Sign-in security remains enabled. Withdrawing permission stops future optional loading; it cannot undo information already sent to a provider. You can also remove existing third-party cookies in your browser.

Complianz stores your choices in first-party cookies whose names begin cmplz_, including your chosen categories, policy version and banner status. These remember and apply your choice, rather than track you for advertising.

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small pieces of information a website stores in your browser. Local and session storage can also remember information on your device. Some support a service you request, such as signing in or keeping a form draft; others measure visits or advertising.

Signing in and using website services

WordPress uses cookies to maintain your signed-in session and check that your browser supports cookies. If you use shopping or checkout features, WooCommerce may use cookies to remember your basket and session. Blocking these can prevent the requested feature from working. Selecting “Remember me” can keep a login active for longer than a normal session.

Form drafts

Some questionnaires save an unfinished draft in your browser so you can continue without retyping it. This is separate from submitting the form. Read the notice beside each form, and clear site storage when using a shared device. Clearing it can remove an unfinished draft.

Spam and security protection

Where Google reCAPTCHA is enabled, Google receives technical information about your browser and device to assess automated abuse. It can set the _GRECAPTCHA security cookie. Google controls its own storage and processing. See Google’s Privacy Policy and reCAPTCHA information.

Optional tracking

WooCommerce order-attribution tracking is switched off. This feature would otherwise record information about how a visitor arrived at the site using cookies with names beginning sbjs_. Switching it off does not automatically remove cookies previously stored on your device.

External services

Fonts, avatars and external media can send technical information to their providers when loaded. Following a link to another website brings you under that website’s privacy and cookie settings. Our Privacy Policy describes the providers used by this website.

Your browser controls

You can inspect and delete cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Deleting site data may sign you out, empty a basket or remove saved form drafts. Browser controls are not a substitute for consent where optional tracking requires it.
