Lean-to-Leverage Small business

Make business easier to run.

Less repeat admin. Fewer missed follow-ups. Clearer ways of working — with simple, connected systems your team can actually use.

A business that works together People, process and tools connect around a clear human owner. Technology supports the work, not the other way around. PeopleProcessToolsHuman ownership

The principle

Do not automate chaos.

Most businesses do not need another tool on top of a confusing process. We begin by understanding how work really moves today, remove the unnecessary friction, and only then introduce the right digital support.

How we make work simpler

From manual effort to a steadier way of working.

  1. 01

    See the real work

Look at everyday tasks, how work moves between people and where customers or staff get stuck.

  2. 02

    Simplify before building

Remove duplication and clarify the process, so the digital version supports good work rather than preserving confusion.

  3. 03

    Set clear rules and ownership

Agree who acts, what good looks like and where a person must make the call.

  4. 04

    Connect the right pieces

Bring together the tools, information and communication points that genuinely need to work as one.

  5. 05

    Automate carefully

Test changes before relying on them. Keep someone responsible and a clear way to work manually if needed.

  6. 06

    Measure, learn and improve

Use simple evidence to see whether the change saves time, improves the customer experience or removes a genuine bottleneck.

Where we can help

The everyday work that makes a small business feel heavier than it should.

Enquiries and follow-up

Give every enquiry a clear next step, so promising conversations do not disappear into an inbox.

Bookings, payments and next steps

Make it easier for customers to book, pay, provide what is needed and know what happens next.

Onboarding and customer care

Turn repeated welcome, chasing and update tasks into a reliable experience that still feels personal.

Team admin and delivery

Reduce re-keying, unclear ownership and the “who is doing that?” moments that slow good work down.

Connected tools and clearer information

Work out what should connect, what should stay separate and where the business needs one reliable view.

Know how the business is doing

See what is working and what needs attention, without spending hours putting reports together.

What a first step could look like

Start with one everyday problem.

These are illustrative scenarios, not client case studies or promised results. The right first step depends on your business.

Enquiries arrive, but follow-up gets missed

A small service business receives requests by email, phone and its website. Nobody has a clear view of who needs a reply.

A possible first step: one enquiry list, a named person for each request and a reminder when a reply is due.

What to check: response time and enquiries left without a next step.

Every new client means another round of chasing

A consultancy asks for the same information in several emails. Clients are unsure what to send or what happens next.

A possible first step: a clear welcome checklist and one place to collect the details needed to begin.

What to check: missing information and time spent chasing it.

The team enters the same details twice

A growing business copies information between a spreadsheet and another tool. Different versions make handovers harder.

A possible first step: agree which record everyone should use, remove unnecessary fields and test one useful connection.

What to check: duplicate entry, errors and who owns the record.

Before you begin

A few useful answers.

Can we start with just one task?

Yes. Tell us which task takes too much time or regularly causes problems. We can use that as a starting point, then check what needs to change before discussing a wider piece of work.

Will we have to replace our existing software?

Not necessarily. We first look at the tools you already use and where they fall short. Sometimes a clearer process is enough; sometimes a connection or a different tool is worth considering.

How much will the work cost?

That depends on the problem, the tools involved and the support needed. The discovery form helps us understand the work so we can discuss a suitable plan and price. Submitting it does not commit you to a paid project.

Do I need an account, and what should I share?

You can send the discovery form without logging in. After submission, you can choose to create or connect a profile using email verification, so you can return to your enquiry and updates. Describe the business problem; do not include passwords or sensitive customer records. Read our Privacy Policy and how we handle your information.

A useful first conversation

Tell us what is making the business harder to run.

You do not need a technical plan or a list of software. Tell us what takes too much time or causes problems. We will review your answers and suggest a practical next step.
