2. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and its public content, resources, contact forms, discovery-call booking and the Expert Practice Diagnostic (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These terms do not replace a written proposal, statement of work, consultancy agreement or other contract agreed between you and us for paid services. If there is a conflict, that separate written agreement takes priority for the relevant services.

3. Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal or internal-business purposes. You must not:

  • use the Site in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or likely to damage, disable, impair or overload it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems, accounts or data;
  • introduce malware, harmful code or material intended to disrupt the Site;
  • scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract Site content or contact details except where permitted by law;
  • use Site content, methods, resources or branding to create or promote a competing offering without our written permission; or
  • submit information that is false, misleading, infringing, confidential to someone else, or includes personal data about another person without a lawful basis to share it.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, users or our rights.

4. Content, resources and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Site and its text, graphics, branding, resources, frameworks, diagnostic prompts, designs and other material are owned by or licensed to Innovating Chaos and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may view the Site, share links to public pages and download or print public material for your personal or internal-business reference. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, publicly display, publish or create derivative works from Site material without our prior written permission, except where law permits.

5. Your submissions and enquiries

You retain ownership of material you submit to us. By submitting it, you confirm that you have the right to do so and give us a limited licence to use it only to respond to your enquiry, assess a potential engagement, deliver any agreed services, operate and secure the Site, and meet legal obligations.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health information, highly sensitive personal data, or confidential information belonging to an employer, client or third party through the Site. Use anonymised examples where possible. If a secure channel is required, we will agree it with you.

6. Expert Practice Diagnostic

The Expert Practice Diagnostic is a structured intake and reflection tool. It is provided to help us understand whether the Build Beyond You pathway may be relevant; it is not an examination, certification, scoring guarantee, job offer, investment recommendation or promise that any particular outcome will be achieved.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers and for removing third-party identifiers and confidential information. Draft answers may be saved locally in your browser and are not sent to us unless you submit the diagnostic. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Discovery calls and prospective work

Any discovery call is exploratory and does not create a consultancy, employment, partnership, fiduciary or other professional-services relationship. It does not oblige either party to proceed.

The scope, deliverables, fee, payment terms, timetable, cancellation terms, responsibilities and other terms for paid work will be set out in a separate written proposal or agreement. We are not obliged to begin work until that agreement is accepted in writing and any agreed preconditions are met.

8. No professional advice

The Site, its resources, the diagnostic and exploratory discussions provide general commercial and strategic information only. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, clinical, regulatory or other professional advice. You should obtain independent advice from appropriately qualified professionals before acting on matters that require it.

9. Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the Site useful, accurate and available, but do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or current. Content may be changed, withdrawn or updated without notice. To the extent permitted by law, Site content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, Innovating Chaos is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on its public content. If you use the Site as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or load services provided by third parties, including social-media platforms, Google services and calendar services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and use cookies and related services. It forms part of your use of the Site.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page tells you when they were last updated. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

15. Contact us

Questions about these terms should be sent to info@innovatingchaos.com, or by post to Innovating Chaos Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, England.
